My client based in Sheffield are a large steel manufacturing company who require a Development / Customer Liaison Metallurgist.
Reporting to the Technical Manager you will provide comprehensive technical & quality assurance services for the business and its external client base.
You will be responsible for plant based trials, quality assurance, ensuring products meet exact client requirements, liaising with customers and developing both products and processes to further develop quality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Metallurgy, have proven experience in steel making or a hot rolling environment, excellent customer interfacing skills and a working understanding of quality assurance documentation and auditing to ISO 9000 standards.
£25000 per annum.
