Swinton Technology Limited is a leading global supplier of oil and gas metering computer systems and associated products and services to the petrochemical industry. As a consequence of our continued success in the market we are currently looking to fill the following position:
Project Engineer
We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic people who have a professional, flexible and customer focused attitude.
For this position you will have at least 5 years industrial experience in the process/instrumentation field. Reporting to project management, you will take responsibility for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timescales. You will be the primary technical customer interface and will have a good level of commercial awareness. Responsibilities include the design of bespoke technical solutions, planning tasks, co-ordination of staff, progress reporting, project documentation and drawings, simulation, testing, commissioning and maintenance support. A level of site work is required, both onshore and offshore, both UK and overseas.
The position requires a good appreciation of control systems. Candidates will ideally have experience of software configuration of DCS type systems such as Honeywell Experion.
Experience in fiscal metering would be an advantage.
